Worth 'noting' that the Red Arrows, have cancelled a number of shows to allow for training, a replacemment 'Red 6' which was involved in a mishap in Cyprus weeks ago. In order to keep the nine-ship' formation, this has to happen.

It would appear that, yesterday 3-2-2010, a UH60 'Blackhawk' helicopter belonging to the US Army, has crashed killing at least three persons onboard. The helicopter is reported to have been making it's way to the Colman Barracks. The crash-site is in woodland near the A67 motorway between Viernheim and Lorsche with is to the south of Frankfurt, Germany. The crash happened at 17.20 GMT.

Our sincere condolences to the families of these victims at this time. Rest in peace.

Not much to report, this week other than I'm sad to hear of the death of Col. Lee Archer on weds of this week. Was lucky to have seen a brief 'glimpse' of him at Duxford some years ago. Chris Reynolds of the 78th FG Group on Facebook, tells me the P-47G 'Jug' still has no wheels fitted yet.
